Maureen Ceidro, M.A.

CeidroMs. Maureen Ceidro is a bereavement counselor with over 25 years of experience in the field of grief. She has her master’s degree in theology from Saint Vincent Seminary and is a founder of a family-based grief support program that utilizes various modalities such as art therapy, music and pets to help children from ages 5 to 19 cope with their sadness due the death of a loved one. As part of this program, Ms. Ceidro worked with the Fred Rogers Center, with input from Dr. Jessica Black, to create a psychoeducational brochure, ‘When Someone Your Child Loves Dies’ which can be downloaded here.
